Look4Help Transitions to 413Cares

Welcome Look4Help Users!

Look4Help, the online resource database for Franklin and Hampshire Counties run by Community Action Pioneer Valley (CAPV), will be shutting down on February 28th, 2023. It will be redirecting people to use 413Cares, which offers resources for all counties of western MA and beyond using the Findhelp platform.

413Cares and CAPV are working together to make this as smooth of a transition as possible. 413Cares staff will be presenting at the Franklin County Resource Network meeting on March 17th to discuss the transition plan, what this means for organizations, how information is being integrated into 413Cares/findhelp, and how 413Cares and findhelp staff will provide continued support to organizations and seekers.

413Cares will also be hosting a few “office hours” times for organizations to learn more about how the platform works and ask questions. Office hours will be held on:

  • Tuesday, March 28th from 2:30-4:00 pm. Register
  • Thursday, April 6th from 12:00-1:30 pm. Register.

A new 413Cares kiosk is now available at Caring Health Center's Main Street location in Springfield, located on the second floor. The kiosk gives patients an easy way to search for free or low-cost resources in their area. From food assistance and housing support to childcare, legal services, and more, the platform connects people directly to organizations that can help. The kiosk is part of a broader effort to make 413Cares more accessible across Western MA, ensuring that people have the opportunity to find and connect with the support they need. If you're visiting Caring Health Center's Main Street location, stop by the second floor and try out the 413Cares kiosk!
